Contacts Policy

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, as amended and supplemented ("Privacy Code") and European Regulation no. 679 of 2016 (the "Privacy Regulation"), MIR - Medical International Research S.p.A, with registered office in 00155 - Rome, Via del Maggiolino 125, P. IVA 04564101006, e-mail mir@spirometry.com, in its capacity as Data Controller (hereinafter, the "Data Controller"), wishes to inform you that your personal data will be processed to manage your request to be contacted by the Data Controller.

You can use the "Contact" area to describe your requests for information or needs, such as requesting information on products and software development solutions, or asking to take part in a webinar, but we ask you not to indicate data defined by the Privacy Regulation as special categories of data (e.g. relating to your state of health, religious orientation, etc.).

The legal basis for the processing is the performance of a service within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(b) of the Privacy Regulation and, therefore, no express consent will be required from you in order to process your request.

The data you provide will be processed mainly by means of paper and/or computer tools under the authority of the Data Controller, by persons specifically authorised and trained to process them (pursuant to Art. 2-quaterdecies of the Privacy Code and Articles 28 and 29 of the Privacy Regulation). We inform you that appropriate security measures are observed, also pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation, to prevent loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

The data may be communicated, within the EU, in full compliance with the provisions of the Privacy Regulation, to the following third parties: to public bodies and/or authorities, where required by law or at their request; to the structures, subjects and external companies which the Data Controller uses to carry out activities connected with, instrumental to or consequent upon the execution of the "Contacts" service; to external consultants, unless they are designated in writing as Data Processors. The updated list of designated Data Processors may be provided upon request by the data subjects.

In the event that a Data Protection Officer is appointed, the identification data of the Data Protection Officer will be disclosed by publication of the same, supplementing this notice.

Without prejudice to legal obligations, your personal data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to respond to your request for information.

You may at any time exercise your rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the Privacy Regulation, for access, rectification, transformation, blocking, cancellation, and restriction of processing.
